Riverside Corridor Bike/Walking Trail
This 9-mile loop is popular with the local community for its scenic riverfront views. You can hike or bike the paved trail that follows both sides of the Rock River. There are plenty of observation areas to stop and take in the peaceful views, public art, and prairie restoration areas. Public amenities are available nearby in Riverside Park.
Beloit Farmers Market
This beloved community tradition operates year-round, with the outdoor market available from May to October, moving indoors from November to April. Hours are strictly from 9 am to noon, which makes this a great morning activity. Bring your reusable bag and pick up some local produce, meats, eggs, jams, and artisanal goods to support the diverse community of hardworking vendors!
Blackhawk Farms Raceway
This private raceway circuit is 1.95 miles long and hosts a variety of automobile and motorcycle racing events throughout the year. If you feel the need for speed, they offer both automotive and motorcycle track days where you can learn three different levels of driving from seasoned instructors. You must bring some basic safety wear, but helmets are available to rent day-of.
Skydive the Rock
Given that Beloit is conveniently located smack-dab in between two states, take advantage of the opportunity to see two states from one tandem skydive. Available for groups or solo adventures, Skydive The Rock allows you to jump from a breathtaking 14,000 feet. It’s a great opportunity to check off that bucket list item while in town!
Krueger-Haskell Golf Course
This unique 18-hole golf course is located on the west side of Beloit. With four different tee settings, a variety of bunkers, five water hazards, and tree-lined greens, you’ll be guaranteed to have a memorable time. Grab some refreshments at the Putterz Pub after hitting the links, and then stop by the clubhouse to relax and enjoy the rest of your time here.
